House & Flat shares.
House and flat shares are a popular option among students for various reasons:
- More affordable than private student halls – always consider your budget.
- Larger rooms and more living space.
- A homely feel compared to halls.
- Greater independence – you choose who you live with and where.
- Bills may be included in some rental agreements.
While we provide advice and guidance, students are responsible for arranging their own housing. We cannot directly contact landlords or estate agents on your behalf.

Bristol’s public transport, cycling routes, and pedestrian-friendly layout make commuting to campus convenient, so living slightly outside the city center can still be a great option.
Private Student Halls.
As a smaller institution, we do not offer dedicated student halls, but we have strong connections with private student halls providers across Bristol.
Important Considerations:
- Private student halls in Bristol can be more expensive than in other cities.
- Demand is high, so booking early is crucial.
- Accommodation typically goes on sale in November for the following academic year and begins selling out quickly.
