George Seal

George Seal is an accomplished Lighting Designer and Production Electrician whose work spans major UK venues and tours. As a Technical Specialist Tutor, George brings hands-on knowledge to Bristol School of Acting, having designed lighting for recent productions including Metamorphosis at Bath Theatre Academy and Piaf at Bristol Old Vic. Previously, George served as Head of Lighting at Theatre Royal Bath, a highly regarded venue, before going freelance.

His work as Associate Lighting Designer includes projects such as Winterreise at Theatre Royal Bath and Bugsy Malone at Alexandra Palace Theatre. George’s technical expertise also extends to production electrics, having toured with Life of Pi and worked on the UK tour of Of Mice and Men.

With a solid foundation in theatre production from Bath Spa University, George’s comprehensive approach to lighting and production electrics enriches the training of future technical theatre professionals.
