LAUREN DAVIES

Lauren is a spoken voice practitioner, a singing lecturer and a musical director. After obtaining a BA Hons in Music from Bath Spa University, where she trained in classical piano, jazz piano and musical direction, Lauren has Musical Directed and Assistant Musical Directed for more than 30 shows, including three shows at the Bristol Hippodrome.

Lauren has an MFA in Professional Voice Studies from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, is a qualified Estill teacher (Estill Figures of Proficiency), and is a certified Vocal Health First Aider. She is a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association and the British Voice Association. She has taught voice and singing in various master, degree and college programmes in the South West and Wales. Currently, she is teaching Voice at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Bristol Institution of Performing Arts and is excited to be coaching the screen students at Bristol School of Acting.
