Cara Dudgeon
Voice Tutor
Cara attended The Television Workshop in Nottingham for ten years, before studying at Brooksby Melton Academy of Arts and The London School of Musical Theatre. She recently returned from America where she was playing Sandy in Grease for Royal Caribbean Productions. Cara has worked across the UK and world as a vocalist, enjoying contracts as Lead Vocalist for P&O Australia/Grayboy Entertainment, and for Somewhere In Time (UK Tour) with Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, and the UK Tour of Backlash Ballroom. She received a nomination for Best Principal Girl at the Great British Pantomime Awards in 2017 and 2018 and has also worked across film and TV in projects such as My Parents Are Aliens & Bernard’s Watch (CITV), Jamie Johnson (CBBC/Joe Talbot) and This is England (Warp Films/ Shane Meadows).
Cara is passionate about teaching, and alongside her performing career, she is a private vocal coach, runs performing arts workshops and both adult and children choirs. In 2021, Cara became a certified Vocal Health First Aider, and she continues to study the voice, including its pedagogy, anatomy, and various vocal techniques daily as a member of the online platform The Sing Space.
