Charlotte Miranda-Smith

Voice Tutor

Charlotte is a professional actress and singer from Buckinghamshire and was an active part of the Oxford Youth Theatre scene growing up. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Upon graduation, Charlotte went straight on to play the comedic lead in new Musical CRUSH. She enjoys a varied acting career in Shakespeare, plays and musicals. Most notably, opening Storyhouse Theatre in Chester as Polly Peachum in The Beggar’s Opera, in their inaugural rep Company.

She sings in various vocal styles and extremes. Charlotte loves utilising her musical creativity and collaborative attitude to work with composers and playwrights on the development of new shows.

When not performing, Charlotte runs her own performing arts training business, All the World’s A Stage, providing creative opportunities and support to adults and young people. She has taught singing, voice and acting for various drama schools.

Charlotte is fascinated by the voice, which she explores through her podcast My Voice: Sing, Speak, Sound & Spirit, interviewing a variety of people about their relationships to their voice. She also hosts and DJ’s her own arts radio show.
